Born 1954. The creator/director of independent documentaries - television and cinema - which are visually and conceptually both imaginative and challenging. He portrayed writers and artists but is equally interested in social issues. He made about 30 documentaries. They all were broadcasted in the Netherlands and abroad. Some of his films are screened at film festivals like: IDFA, IFFR, AIF Fest Los Angeles, International Film Festival Sydney, Film Festival München, to mention a few. Broadcasters are Dutch Public Television, YLE (Finland) PBS and Documentary Channel (USA) and Tencent Art Channel (China).
