SYNOPSIS
Apartment, acting both as a prison and a mirror for a person, becomes the subject of an ongoing moving still life. A permanently rotating camera gives the viewer a 360 degree view of an apartment and observes the relationships that are a part of a modern family in a conservative society. Twist is a film about people, who live together for years in a lie hiding their sexual orientation and how this lie destroys everything in one instant.

Ovsanna Shekoyan
Born 1989, in Yerevan, she holds her MA in Painting from the Yerevan State Academy of Arts and has long been active in the field of contemporary art. Her first short film Unusual Dinner (2015) was shown in many places and festivals including Artist’s Film International in Istanbul Museum of Modern Art and in International Competition of Rio de Janeiro International Short FF Curta Cinema. In goEast FF in the framework of the East-West Talent Lab her short film project Twist won the Development Award (2016). This project also was selected for Berlinale Talents' Short Film Station (2017). Ovsanna Shekoyan is an alumnus of the Talents Sarajevo (2016) and Berlinale Talents (2017).
