SYNOPSIS
Robert Sternvall (50), a German journalist, returns to Artsakh in 2016 to cover the war which has been reignited after a 22-year ceasefire. In the result of his journalistic investigation, Robert meets Sophia Marti (35), a young opera singer, who happens to be the daughter of missing photojournalist Edgar Martirosyan, whom Robert abandoned in captivity during the fall of the village of Talish in 1992. Robert and Sophia’s frequent rendezvouses ignite a passionate romance...

Jivan Avetisyan
In 2002-07, Jivan Avetisyan studied in the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, Feature Films Directing Department. In 1996-97, he worked in Stepanakert Dramatical Theatre after V. Papazyan, and in 1998-99 - in Stepanakert TV as light engineer, then as TV programs director. In 2003-09, he worked at Yerkir Media TV as TV films and programs director, in 2009-2014 - as head director. In 2014, Jivan Avetisyan founded the Fish Eye Art Cultural Foundation and became its general manager. He filmed a number of short, documentary and feature films. His films Broken Childhood, Tevanik and the project of The Last Inhabitant were presented at Cannes Film Market, as well as received international awards.
