Armenian artist Naira Muradyan is working on the animation Kiko by poet Zahrad. Artist hopes to be allowed to cross the closed Armenia-Turkey borders to visit poet’s Istanbul. Naira manages by crossing borders only in her imagination.

Hasmik Gasparyan is a filmmaker with experience working for Armenian Television (2000-10) and Independent cinema projects (2009-18) in different roles - writer, editor, cinematographer but primarily as a director. Projects range from independent short films to a feature length documentary - Inhabitants of the House, An Attempt, Armenian Woman with a Movie Camera. Hasmik Gasparyan holds a Specialist Diploma in Feature Film Direction from Yerevan State Pedagogical University and a MA in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths, University of London. She worked as a volunteer film-previewer at the International Sheffield Doc/Fest (2011-14), and as a film curator at the Cinema Salon - Armenian Institute in London (2009-11). She is currently the 4th Year PhD by creative practice student at University of York, UK.
