In the mountains of the Caucasus there is a little-known country called Artsakh, a Republic that continues to fight for its independence. Through gallery of portraits, we discover those who shape everyday life in this people in search of freedom.

In 2012, Arnaud Khayadjanian directed Lost Horizons, a short film screened in 22 IFFs. It won the Best Actor Prize in Mulhouse and the Best Movie Award in Fenacies IF. In 2014, Khayadjanian adapted a French play by Laura Desprein into a short film entitled Bad Girl, which has been has been selected in 23 IFFs and won both Vimeo Prize and Jury Prize in Sundance Channel Contest. In 2015, Khayadjanian has released Stony Paths, a documentary inspired by the story of his Armenian great-grandparents. The film was honored by the French critics and was selected in 24 IFFs. Stony Paths received the Jury Prize from Ismailia FF in Egypt, the Best Documentary Prize in Yerevan FF. In 2017, Arnaud Khayadjanian’s new short film Deaf Hearts, was broadcasting on TV channel ARTE.
