SYNOPSIS
After having his car stolen, the director meets Ehsan, the leader of an adolescent crime gang that breaks into cars regularly. What forms is a close relationship between the director and the members of the group, following their steps for six whole years. The film gives an intimate look into Ehsan and the gang's life by documenting thefts, wild chases, running from the police, imprisonment, release and, ultimately, the gang splitting up.

Hesam Eslami
Hesam Eslami got his BFA and MA in cinema from Tehran University of Art. Hesam has studied with Abbas Kiarostami and Asghar Farhadi and is influenced by their cinematic style. Since 2009, he started to work as editor and director. Juvenile offenders and social damages are the main themes of his work. He is also the editor of the acclaimed feature film, Mourning (2011). In 2017, he made his first feature-length documentary, 20th Circuit Suspects selected and screened in 2017 HotDocs Canada. Now Eslami is developing his third feature documentary, which is one of the ten projects participating in the Doc Station at Berlin IFF 2018.
