SYNOPSIS
Across Americas and Asia, three characters from different cultures and generations are at a turning point in their lives. The key to their questioning may lie in their dreams. This delicate film feeds our sense of regret and existential longing with nocturnal poetry, melancholy and humour.

Sophie Goyette
Sophie Goyette is a writer and filmmaker of five awarded short films and a fiction feature, in competition in Sundance, Locarno, Rotterdam and TIFF Toronto festivals. Premiered at Locarno FF, her fourth short La Ronde (2011) won six prizes along with the Best Short Fiction Award at Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québécois. Her fifth short Le futur proche (2012) won the National Award for its world premiere along with five prizes in festivals, and was selected in the International Competition at the 2013 Sundance FF. Mes nuits feront écho/Still Night, Still Light is her first fiction feature.
