Born 1973, Mar del Plata, Argentina. Director, illustrator, writer and animator, Carlos has achieved international recognition for his storytelling abilities: his most famous short films garnered hundreds of selections and awards worldwide. Within his résumé, a Goya Awards nomination, a pre-selection to the Academy Awards, and hundreds of international prizes are to be counted, as well as a participation as a jury presided by David Lynch - in the Animation Category of Vimeo’s First Festival+Awards, held in New York in 2010. In his most recent short film, Lila, Carlos brings fantasy and real life together. Carlos is internationally known for his work in animation “A short love story in stop motion”, “Shadow of Blue” and “The Legend of the Scarecrow” have amassed over 9 million online views, and garnered hundreds of film festival selections and awards worldwide, including a Goya Award selection and Academy Award pre-selections.
