SYNOPSIS
Young people try to avoid boredom by escaping from their hometown. Drinking in fields with friends is more tempting than dating with a girl-friend. "Volga" will be a shelter from rain, snow, wind... but will not fill the gap of boredom and emptiness. Farewell Volga, once after many years, the younker, who never got used to alcohol, will write in his diary.

Hamlet Vardanyan
Hamlet Vardanyanstudied painting. In 2009, he attended film classes of NPAKINO (Film Production Studio of Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art). His one minute film Love and Life got Honorable Mention at Yerevan One Shot IFF in 2008, and his short film Boogie-Woogie in 2010 got CinemArt Magazine Award. Farewell Volga won Best Armenian Film Award at One Shot IFF in 2014.
