SYNOPSIS
This film is made up of three separate visual stories, shot over a period of ten years in three different cities of the Middle East: Erbil in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq (2002), Ramallah in the West Bank, Palestine (2003) and Baghdad (2004 to 2012). There is no dialogue and no narration. It’s requires the viewer to watch and see and feel.

Kasim Abid
Kasim Abid is an Award-winning Iraqi filmmaker, director, producer and is the cameraman of all his films. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts, Baghdad and holds an MA from All Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), Moscow. He came to London in 1982 where he continues to live and work as a filmmaker. Co-Founder of the non-profit making The Independent Filmand TV College in Baghdad. Kasim’s students trained in Iraq, went on to win 14 local and international FFs Awards. Recently Kasim was a jury member at the Abu Dhabi FF 2010 and Ismailia IFF 2013. He was also the director and organizer of two festivals in Iraq: Documentary FF Iraq 2011 and Baghdad Eye-Human Rights FF 2012.
