Film about a film: experimental documentary about a documentary which in spite of the shootings that started in 2007 and with many breaks lasted till 2014 is not completed. The hero, a mortician who himself has said goodbye to the world, the director that is filled with thoughts about the film material, producers, editor, the film critic try to penetrate into the reasons of the fiasco. How does the film become a film? What are the mechanisms working during this process? And finally isn’t a failed film a film material itself?

Director, scriptwriter. In 2000, Arman Yeritsyan graduated from the Directing Department of Yerevan Pedagogical University. For years he has worked in Monarch Films, Internews Armenia, Russian Today TV Channel as well as different Armenian TV Channels. Arman has directed more than 50 advertisments and documentaries. He has worked for Russian Public Television as a director for Heroes of the Century documentary series. He has directed several awarded films as Under the Open Sky, Hello Fellini, etc. Since 2007, Arman is collaborating with Bars Media Documentary Film Studio. He was a jury member at Golden Apricot IFF, Banff World Media IFF, Russia Documentary Open FF and for other festivals also.
