SYNOPSIS
Istanbul, the present. The city is one big machine, where we listen to the voices of young male and female workers. A Kurdish girl rebels against the family tradition. The last young member of a diminished clan remembers the past. A child worker turns into his family's leader. A young male sells himself in front of The Blue Mosque. Shot entirely on 8mm in semi-documentary style, Overtime chronicles the desperation and hope in the economically /culturally marginalized Muslim working class.
