Ukrainian Vitaliy Radchenko goes to Karabakh with his Armenian friend to fight in the war. The friend dies in the war zone. Vitaliy becomes disabled. The war is over. Karabakh wins. But for the warriors who risked their lives, the real war is just about to start.

Born 1981, Vanadzor, Armenia) Vahe Yan studied at the Yerevan State Institute of the Cinema and Theatre (1998-2003), graduated as a director (Diploma with excellence). Since 2005, has been working at Shoghakat TV Company, directing documentary films and programs. In 2001, he won The Best Director's Prize at the Students’ Annual Competition-Festival for staging Jonathan Livingstone Seagull performance. In 2007, Vahe Yan was awarded the Diploma for Cane at “It’s Me” International Youth FF. In 2007, Cane was awarded also the Diploma at the Vmeste International Documentary FF, Yalta. In 2008, Vahe Yan’s My World received the Diploma at the “Eurasia. Social Portrait” International Journalist Competition-Festival, Moscow, and Special Prize at the Vmeste IFF, Yalta. In 2010, The Present, another documentary by him, was awarded the Diploma by the Armenian Union of Cinematographers in the Short Films Competition of the One Shot, One Minute IFF, Yerevan.
