SYNOPSIS
Małgorzata - an important politician - is going to her home at the lake. Her son - a drug addict - needs her help while Małgorzata asks her daughter for her support. At home they find Małgorzata’s semiconscious son and a massacred body of a young girl. In the face of the tragedy, their relationship gets complicated, disclosing their hidden grudges. The mother has to make the most difficult decision in her life.

Ostalski is a Political Science graduate from Gdansk University, Social Science Faculty and a WFH Sopot Schools' of Photography Student. He is an award winner from press photography contests. In 2012, Ostalski graduated from Directing Faculty at Gdynia School Film. "The Mother" is his diploma film.
