SYNOPSIS
A one day drama of eighteen year old Marek living near Slovak - Moravian border with his dad and with his racist friends - hooligans, however Marek’s best friend is only his dog. Marek’s life is shaken up when he discovers the secret of his lost mother Marika.

Born 1977, Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Her first feature, Little Foxes premiered in the International Critic’s Week competition during the 2009 Venice IFF and she traveled for it during top world festivals such as Pusan, Warsaw, Stockholm, Rotterdam, Seattle and many others. Mira received several awards for Little Foxes in Slovakia such as The Best Young Filmmaker for 2008-2009 awarded by Slovak Film and TV Academy, Slovak Film Critics’ Award for 2010 and the prize for The Most Talented Filmmaker under the age of 35 awarded by Tatra bank in 2010. With My Dog Killer she won the best script in Slovakia Awards of Tibor Vichta 2009 and the project was selected at Berlinale co-production market 2010 and as well won the honorable mentioning at Agora work in Progress meetings of the Thessaloniki IFF, 2012.
