SYNOPSIS
Inna is a young, pretty, successful young woman. She is a typical member of the new Russian middle class, working as a manager at a Moscow restaurant where she is surrounded with the respect and love of her colleagues. She also has a very special person in her life - her six-year-old son Mitya. The little boy is the centre of her universe, her best friend and ally. They have a touching, kind, caring, and supportive relationship. Unexpectedly Inna receives some terrible news. She is diagnosed with an incurable illness. Now the main thing is to find a safe place for little Mitya. Her twisted journey of anxiety, weakness and dismay will lead to unexpected encounters, rediscovering her strength, self-restraint, and in the end - hope.

Pavel Ruminov
The Russian director, screenwriter, editor and composer started his career as a music video and TV commercial maker. He edited several TV series, wrote scripts. After moving to Moscow he began directing fiction films. His medium-length directorial debut Deadline participated in the Kinotavr festival competition in 2004 and received a jury special mention. His films have been presented at a number of international film festivals.
