SYNOPSIS
This is a story of a young generation of Belarussians, who in the last non-free society in Europe are trying to find their place and their happiness, including through creativity. Horizon Sky has just faced political censorship problems, which makes the screening in the country of origin impossible.

Andrei Kureichik
Born 1980, Minsk, Belarus. Kureichik is well known in Belarussia not only for artistic achievements but for his principal civil position. He wrote hundreds articles and gave a lot of interviews against violating human rights in Belarussia, suppression of opposition. He always defended the rights of Byelorussian artists which suffered from regime which considered the most strict and hard for artistic freedoms in Europe. That is why Andrei Kureichik was included into “black list” of Byelorussian artists which was released by administration of president Lukashenko. And it is strictly forbidden any mention of that artists in official mass medias and any governmental support.

Dmitri Marinin
Born 1972, Minsk, Belarus. Marinin studied at The Belarusian Academy of Arts, specializing in drama direction. In 2001, he took a training in Direction at Russian Academy of Theate. From 1994 to 2001 Marinin worked as a director at National Academic Theatre named ahter Janka Kupala, Minsk, Belarus. And since 2005, he is a director at Square Film Company, Moscow, Russia.
