Hakob Melkonyan

Born 1984, Getazat, Armenia. Melkonyan made his first steps in acting at the age of 11 and at 16 he began writing plays. In 2001, he was admitted to Religious Studies Department of Yerevan State University. In 2007, he attended intensive courses at Munich Film and Television Academy. He started his career as a chief-casting assistant at the Film Department of Limousin, France in 2009. Since 2010, Melkonyan has been working at Insert Production as a director and photographer. Additionally, since 2012, he took the position of a scriptwriter and director at Archinema Production and director’s post at France Television of Limousin Region.
