Born 1980, Vigo, Spain. Sonia Mendez studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She later studied as a screenwriter and acting coach at the Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya and dramatic construction at the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba.
