SYNOPSIS

Valery Bryusov is one of the most talented and influential critics of the XX century, Russia. Bryusov was a publisher and literary historian in addition to translator and editor of the best Russian Symbolist magazines, “Libra. There is a special place in Bryusov’s literary work dedicated to the translation and editing of Armenian poetry from the unique anthology The Poetry of Armenia from Ancient Times to the Present Day. This is the first documentary dedicated to Bryusov. The 140th anniversary of Valery Bryusov will be celebrated in Russia and in Armenia in 2013.
