SYNOPSIS
Chris feels neither a man nor a woman, but more like a "Two-Spirit": in between both genders. Now turning sixty, this professor of management is taking the big plunge. The film takes place over one year in Chris’s life, from an operation in Thailand, the “apprenticeship” of femininity back in Switzerland, to the coming out as a woman. This is the year in which Chris takes wing as a female to become Christa.

Born 1982, Villeneuve-St-Georges, France. Périgaud left the Paris at 19 to study Anthropology and Sociology at Neuchatel University, Switzerland. During her studies she specialized in Visual Anthropology and learned how to film and edit by working at Rec Productions (Neuchatel, Switzerland) and Canal Onex (Onex, Switzerland). In 2006, she traveled for two months in India as a director’s assistant on the film La Danse des Dieux by Paul Rognoni. From 2008 to 2009, she filmed Christophe/Christa Muth’s gender transition for her documentary Between Two-Spirit. It was her final project for the completion of her Master’s, which she continued editing independently for two years. In 2010, Laurence Périgaud started working at Radio Television Suisse (RTS), where she directs news reports and live shows.
