SYNOPSIS
In the 5th century a monk, Mesrop Mashtots, created the Armenian alphabet that is currently used. The writing system seized Armenians and never left them. The text remains more than an essential component of the Armenian culture: a sacred value.

Born 1945, Istanbul. Turkey. From 1973 to 1976 Pehlivanianattended Yerevan State Conservatory and earned his diploma in the school of dance and choreography. He moved to France and started to work as a choreographer and radio presenter for cultural programs. Pehlivanian’scareer in television began in 1984 as an official correspondent of Armenian TV and a reporter for TF1, France2, France 3 and chanel 5. His career in the realizations of the various documentaries and reports began in 1990. In 2005 he founded the French-Armenian movie club, sponsored by the director Robert Guediguian. Since 2011 to present, Pehlevanian has been a video correspondent and reporter for TV H 1 in collaboration with the embassy of Armenia in France and the Representative of Nagorno-Karabakh in France.
