SYNOPSIS

Eva, a young girl who studies classical singing, decides to meet her father, Thomas, for the first time in her life. Thomas works as a guard in at a truck lot, lives in a cargo container and has lost hope in life. Their meeting will be that of two different worlds. They create an odd relationship, “their own” relationship, which doesn’t fall into any category.

Nikos Kornilios

Kornilios was born in Athens and lived in Paris from 1973 to 1989. He studied at D.E.A. in theatrical studies, music at the University of Paris VIII, Maitrise, architecture at the University of Sorbonne, Paris I. DPLG (Certificate) and at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He attended courses by Eric Rohmer in I.A.A. for two years and later collaborated with Antoine Vitez (workshop for actors and directors) and Ianis Xenakis (composing). Throughout his studies, he was a scholar of the Greek Ministry of Culture and the French Ministry of Culture. In early 80’s he was in charge of a workshop on Ancient Greek Drama at Theatre Ivry-Antoine Vitez. He later became the director of theatre at Aqueduc, Arcueil. In 1989 he returned to Greece and taught acting at the Drama School, National Theatre. In 2003 his film The World Again won a Crystal Globe at Karlovy Vary IFF.
