Catastrophe strikes Mahadev, a farmer in a remote corner of rural India, and interweaves in its wake the life of Rishi, a filmmaker from metropolis Mumbai. The two belong to radically different social spectrum, yet their fates are curiously bound together and their struggle mirrors each other.

Kanchan Ghosh took his Bachelors Degree in Arts from Allahabad University and simultaneously was an actor on stage before he moved to New Delhi where he worked for television and films. Kanchan now lives in Mumbai and independently works as screenwriter-director and is a visiting faculty at the Department of Theatre & Films, Allahabad University. White is his first short fiction film and debut as director.
