Born 1950. After 20 years of journalism and photo-journalism for magazines, Philippe Lamensch became a scriptwriter for screen and TV, and, a filmmaker, in 2008. Legend of John the Inverted, the first film he directed, was screened in up to fifty festivals from Sao Paulo to Singapore and Madagascar to Sweden, won five major awards in European festivals, was broadcasted in Belgium, France and Germany. About a Spoon is his second film, and the first one he produces.
