One of the unique representatives of Armenian painting, Apresik Aloyan lives, or, to be more exact, hangs out in a tiny town. Every single day he goes out and looks for people in the streets, always wondering and having hard time coping with his surroundings.

Born 1961,Yerevan. In 1984 he graduated from Moscow All-Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), and since then has been working in Hayfilm and Hayk Film Studios. He has participated in the creation of more than 40 films. He is a lecturer and supervises studios at Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, as well as at the Academy of TV and Radio. He has participated in and is a laureate of various international film festivals.
