Nae lives in a small village in East Romania. A telegram arrives from France informing him
of his long lost uncle Luca’s death and asking Nae and his mother to come to France to make funeral arrangements. One of the deceased’s last wishes was to be buried in the cemetery of his home town in Sulina, Romania, located on the coast of the Black Sea, on the other side of the continent.

Cornel Gheorghita

Romanian and French Citizenship. In 1976 Cornel (Corneliu) Gheorghita started making his first amateur films. From 1977 to 1983 he studied at Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Engineer Degree), worked as a photo reporter for several magazines and newspapers in Bucharest. Between 1985 and 1989 worked as an engineer for Cinema Centre in Bucharest, produced eight fiction films and documentaries. In 1990 he emigrated to France where he has been living since. Since 1991 he is a teacher at Superior School of Audiovisual at the University of Toulouse. Since 2001 – a teacher at ETPA (Private School for Audiovisual).
