He studied journalism at the University of Salamanca. In 1998 he moved to Barcelona to obtain a Master’s in Making Documentaries at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. As co-director of the documentary The Fence together with Ricardo Iscar he won in more than 20 festivals worldwide including the Best European Short Film at the Berlinale 2006. He directed video clips for popular Spanish songwriter Kiko Veneno. Nacho Martվn also co-wrote La Punta del Moral (2000), with Ricardo ծscar, and collaborated in Monkeys Like Becky (1999) by Joaquim Jordո, and. Buenaventura Durruti, anarqista (2000) by Jean - Louis Comolli.
