This is the story of Aram's first love, his classmate Amy, who comes from a well-off family. Adults try in vain to keep the boy away from disappointment. He has to cure himself during this dark time.

Melkonyan, Valery

Valery Melkonyan (born 01.01.1952, Ejmiatsin, Armenia)
In 1974 graduated from Yerevan Art-Theatrical Institute, Department of Acting. From 1974-1979 he has worked at the theatre and cinema. In 1983 finished Directing Higher courses in Moscow. He has shot a number of short films, two of them on Saroyan’s stories.
