| Kochar, Ruben  Ruben Kochar (born 1953, Yerevan)
Kochar graduated from Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute, the Faculty of Culture, majoring in directing, in 1974. Since then he has worked as a director at the Yerevan TV Film Studio. He has made several films there. One of them, Quartet, received The Grand prix at the Minsk International Festival of TV films. For the films Memories, Hello, Out There and Lilit Kochar became the Komsomol prizewinner. In 1992 he founded Armenian International TV in Los Angeles. Herostrat, a film made by him in 2001, received the President’s Prize at the Ajijic IFF.
