"Golden Apricot" Yerevan 4th International Film Festival

On July 14, at Yerevan’s Freedom Square, the closing ceremony for the 4th Yerevan International Film Festival was held. The awards ceremony kicked off with a surprise award, the “Tonino Guerra” fund gave the founder-director of “Golden Apricot”, film director Harutyun Khachatryan, the honor of the “Amarcord” medal. Referring to the juries’ decisions of the film festival, it’s correct to say that the majority opinion was in favor of Vardan Hovhanissyan’s, “A Story of People in War and Peace.”
The following are the decisions of the five juries of the film festival:
 Ecumenical Jury:
Ecumenical Award: Vardan Hovhannisyan A Story of People in War and Peace (Armenia)
Encouragement Award: Carla Garapedian, Screamers (UK)
 FIPRESCI Jury:
