Whose Is This Song?

Bulgaria
2003, 70min.

Dir./Prod./Script.: Adela Peeva, Dir of Phot.: Zoro Nedelkov, Edit.: Jelio Jelev, Nina Altadarhakova, Sound: Stoyan Augustinov, Tro Yanev.

This film shows, with a sense of humor, some typical features of the character of the people living in the Balkans. For example, their habit of appropriating all that is good and denying others the right to possess the same qualities, the same temperament, the same customs, and the same songs. It’s an exciting journey around the Balkans where people still sing this song which appears as a love song, another time as a religious hymn and as a battle song.
