This film is divided into three chapters, each in a separate room. In each chapter, the atmosphere is determined by one predominant emotion. The main characters are the 9 to 14-year-old boys at Kronstadt Cadet Academy, a woman called Hadizhat Gataeva who saves children from the ruins of Chechnya, and the children living across the border in the Ingushetia refugee camp.

Honkasalo, Pirjo

Pirjo Honkasalo (born 1947, Helsinki)
She is a director and cinematographer. She studied at Temple University in the School of Communications, in Philadelphia. She has directed, written and worked as a cinematographer for documentaries and feature films for over 25 years.
