GOLDEN APRICOT MASTERSCHOOL OF CINEMA

Golden Apricot MasterSchool of Cinema is happy to announce call for participants for the 2009-2010 year. Film directors, scriptwriters, directors of photography, sound directors and producers are invited to apply.

The classes will start in September, the first workshop will be conducted by world known film Polish film director Krzysztof Zanussi.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

- Eligible are young filmmakers and last year students of film schools who have created at least one short film.

- English knowledge is a requirement.

- To apply for the workshop you should fill in the application form and send it to filmschool@gaiff.am and the DVD of your film at: GOLDEN APRICOT MasterSchool of Cinema, #3 Moskovyan Str., 0001, Yerevan, ARMENIA indicating “For the MasterSchool, 2009-2010”.

The postmark of the package should be no later than August 20.

If your film is available in Golden Apricot archive, you do not have to send it again; just indicate the title and year of production.

After receiving the full applications successfully, GA MasterSchool team will conduct a short interview with all the participants.

For local participants the interviews will be held in Armenian, with a short talk in English. You will be informed about the date of the interview by e-mail.

For foreign participants the interviews will be conducted on phone or on-line in English. You will be informed about the date of the interview by e-mail.

FINANCIAL

NO FEES FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE WORKSHOP ARE REQUIRED. Golden Apricot will cover full accommodation for the participants during the workshop and will provide them with shooting and editing facilities if necessary. Participants will be asked to cover their travel expenses.
