Surrounded by divers and swimmers, a little girl feels humiliated by her fear of jumping in the water. She escapes her reality by holding her breath to 'trip' within her own head. But when she sees two unexpected creatures swimming beautifully and effortlessly underwater, can she take the plunge into their magical world?

She trained in Theatre Set Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. She was immediately picked by MTV Europe to work on the team that created MTV Italy. She then directed documentaries for TV, which had success on international film festival circuits. In 2008 Martina moved to drama with A' Mare, a 14-minute short film, which screened at Sundance FF and won a number of awards, including the UNICEF Award in Bilbao and a BAFTA/La Certificate of Excellence at Aspen. I-Do-Air premiered at the London FF and is nominated for a BAFTA.
