In 1989, the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh had been escalating for a year. The Soviet regime proved unable to curb the violence. Armenians living in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis living in Armenia were forced to leave. From Home to Home tells the story of Azerbaijanis and Armenians who swapped villages and countries, and made a unique deal. They decided to exchange their villages and countries promising each other to look after the village graves. Since then, they have been keeping their promise.

Muradyan, Seda Seda Muradyan (born 1977, Yerevan)
She got her degree in TV reporting from the Department of Culture at the Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute. In 1997 she started working at A1+ TV Company as a reporter, presenter and editor. She is the author of numerous TV reports, TV films and articles published in local and foreign media. Since 2005, she has been the Armenia Country Director of the British Institute for War and Peace Reporting. Worked on From Home to Home in 2006-2008. Her first documentary project, it was awarded the annual prize of the Radio Netherlands Training Center (RNTC) in 2006. The production of the film was also supported by the Swiss Embassy to Armenia in 2007-2008. The production of film was finalized at Hayk Documentary Film Studio, in 2008 through the support of the Armenian Ministry of Culture.
