Hemo, a musician from Istanbul is taking the train to Iran to fix his old Persian instrument in Teheran and to get some parts for it. He is traveling for three days in the TransAsia Express through his homeland to visit the country of his instrument, which he has never seen before. We followed him and his santoor to Iran and documented the interesting, contradictory and entertaining reality of the railway that connects Istanbul and Teheran. As we are talking to the passengers, Hemo turns to his instrument and sings us songs of beauty and sorrow.
