Hari Rai is a 17-year old boy who lives in a small village in the Himalayan Mountains. He works as a porter in order to pay his University tuition and living expenses at the Management University in Pokhara. He is hired to carry a huge red Coca-Cola refrigerator to the nearest town. During his four-day journey, the viewer discovers Hari’s inner life, his relationship with his family and his village, while also encountering the culture and daily routines of locals. Within the course of time it becomes apparent that this is a young man facing controversy – he rejects and questions some aspects of his culture, while working within it at the same time. The shifting scenery of this journey takes us from the personal to the general: from the empty arid mountains to the bustling crowds of urban life.

| Muntean, Lucian Lucian Muntean (born 1976, Serbia)
Lucian Muntean graduated from the University of Film and Theatre, Department of Cinematography in Bucharest, Romania in 2000. Since graduation, he has been working as a cinematographer for various international Productions and TV networks. In 2005 Lucian Muntean and Natasa Stankovic founded Lunam Docs – an independent production of documentary filmmaking on human rights and social justice around the world, with special emphasis on the children rights and child labor. The great support and the feedback of the international public to the film Punam motivated Lucian and Natasa to establish the Punam Fund (2007). The Punam Fund is dedicated to the elimination of and fight against child labor.

Stankovic, Natasa Natasa Stankovic (born 1977, Serbia)
Natasa Stankovic graduated from the University of Arts, Department of Photography and Video in Bucharest, Romania in 2001. In 2007 she finished her postgraduate studies in photography at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia.
