Independent filmmaker and photographer Mehrdad Oskouei was born in 1969 in Tehran. He has a BA in film directing from University of Arts. Oskouei started his artistic career as theater actor and filmmaker in 1981 and 1988 respectively. He has made 22 documentaries and short films. His films have received many awards at national and international festivals.
