An Armenian family of refugees from Azerbaijan lives in a dormitory in the suburb of Moscow. The grandparents argue because of the fig tree left in their garden in Baku. They count the varieties of sugar they used to buy in Baku, list the names of classmates, refuse to unpack their trunks and wait... The film was shot in a real dormitory where refugees lived. Most of the characters are real people.
