Many people think that after death the life doesn’t end. Doctor Tirsa, a practical and skeptic to everything man, has never believed in such things while on fault of awkwardly thrown ball of bowling he found himself on a deserted plain together with peoples like him - people who don’t belong to this world, but also not accepted in the other world as well. Here Viktor Palich Tirsa realizes that life he was living before wasn’t so bad and he has his reasons to return to it.
