The consequence of the Armenian Genocide was a great number of orphans. Some of these children were welcomed into Romania. They lived in the Strunga village.

Was born in a Tatar family in Romania. He has graduated from the Film Institute from Bucharest in 1976. He has been working at the Romanian Public Television for 31 years. Cadri is an advanced user of the computer and of the multimedia editing software. He also works as a director of photography. He has created many feature and documentary films. Among them is Visul Doar Vis (The Dream, Only the Dream) - a documentary film about Manuk Bey Mirzaian, the Armenian who lived in Romania and who founded a famous inn in Bucharest.
