Yerznkyan, Yuri

Yuri Yerzinkyan
Born - 26.01.1922 in Tbilisi. Died - 19.12.1996 in Moscow, buried in Yerevan.
1939-1942 - art designer of Yerevan State Theatre.
1940 -1941- practitioner of Vakhtangov Drama Theatre in Moscow. 1941-1943 - director of "Window of Satire" in Yerevan. Since 1943 - worked at Hayfilm Studio first as an art director, then as a film director. 1946-1947 - studied at Moscow Director's Courses (R.Simonov's master-class). 1948-49 - graduated from the Advanced Directing Courses in VGIK (M.Romm's master class). 1952 - graduated from the Yerevan Fine Arts and Theatre Institute.
