The film Incention is about the events of the 30-50th of the past century, time which is set in people’s collective memory as years of Stalin tyranny.
The hero of the film is Poghos Sahakyan, a man who, in the result of his friend’s mean betrayal, is imprisoned with the label of ”people’s enemy” with irrevocable consequences.
The flm is about the state, community living in fear, sufferings of an individual denied even by his relatives, which is in the end justified paying a very high price for that justification.
The film is an incention commemorating millions of innocent ”guilties” who were victims of the worship of an individual, it reminds them what precious ideas freedom of speech, democracy, and civil community really are.
