Bekir is in love with Ugur, who loves Zagor who loves to commit crimes. Zagor is released from the jail. When unfortunate incidents follow one another in a hot and suffocating summer night, Zagor commits a murder. The same night Ugur disappears too. He gets married and starts a new life. However, when Zagor kills two policemen in Izmir and gets seized, Bekir starts to trail Ugur in cheap countryside nightclubs, third class motel rooms, in joint parties. Degraded, his pride is offended, but he doesn’t mind. Ugur is dragged after Zagor from town to town, prison to prison and Bekir follows Ugur like a loyal, stubborn dog. While everything is vanishing for a pair of eyes and a beautiful face, love grows with the light of a cigarette put out in the palms, with pain, poverty, tears and badness. Families are torn apart, children grow orphans yet the innocence is never lost.
