Workingman’s Death follows the trail of the Heroes in the illegal mines in Ukraine, snuffs out Ghosts among the sulphur workers in Indonesia, finds itself face to face with Lions at a slaughterhouse in Nigeria, mingles with Brothers as they cut a huge oil tanker into pieces hoping for a glorious Future. Meanwhile, the future is now in Germany, where a major smelting plant of bygone days has been converted into a bright and shiny leisure park. | Glawogger, Michael Michael Glawogger born 03.12.1959, Graz, Austria.
Studied at San Francisco Art Institute and Vienna Film Academy. In addition to being a director, he is a cameraman and writer. He has regularly cooperated with the documentary maker Ulrich Seidl. In 1995, he recieved the Vienna Film Prize for Die Ameisenstrase.
