Workingman’s Death follows the trail of the Heroes in the illegal mines in Ukraine, snuffs out Ghosts among the sulphur workers in Indonesia, finds itself face to face with Lions at a slaughterhouse in Nigeria, mingles with Brothers as they cut a huge oil tanker into pieces hoping for a glorious Future. Studied at San Francisco Art Institute and Vienna Film Academy. In addition to being a director, he is a cameraman and writer. He has regularly cooperated with the documentary maker Ulrich Seidl. In 1995, he recieved the Vienna Film Prize for Die Ameisenstrase.
