The year is 1943. Colonel Vishnevskiy receives an order from the government to train a group of saboteurs - who should stop the actions of a German army group called "Edelweiss". The mission is a top-secret one. Vishnevskiy trains 14-15 year old juvenile criminals. They know that when the mission is over they will be eliminated since they all know too much to be left alive.

Atanesian, Alexander

Born 1953.
Graduated from the Department of Linguistics, Tbilisi Pushkin Pedagogic Institute; in 1989, Moscow Higher Courses for Directors (Roman Balayan’s workshop.) As a co-director, worked with Sergei Parajanov, Alexander Rekhviashvili and Nodar Managadze. As a director, started with short films: Duchess de Montemajor’s Letters (1983), King Louis II Bridge (1989), The Dance (1990), In 2000, made his first feature length film, 24 Hours.
