The year is 1943. Colonel Vishnevskiy receives an order from the government to train a group of saboteurs - who should stop the actions of a German army group called "Edelweiss". The mission is a top-secret one. Vishnevskiy trains 14-15 year old juvenile criminals. Graduated from the Department of Linguistics, Tbilisi Pushkin Pedagogic Institute; in 1989, Moscow Higher Courses for Directors (Roman Balayan’s workshop.) As a co-director, worked with Sergei Parajanov, Alexander Rekhviashvili and Nodar Managadze. As a director, started with short films: Duchess de Montemajor’s Letters (1983), King Louis II Bridge (1989), The Dance (1990), In 2000, made his first feature length film, 24 Hours.
