After many years of wondering over taiga searching for a place to dwell, Natalia and Yuri settled on the Olthon Island, caught in the waters of Lake Baikal. They hoped finally to find happiness. Yuri dreamed of hunting and fishing, Natalia supposed that her life far from the hassle of the cities would enable her to raise her children in a pristine atmosphere.And her children were also happy to live in a distant, wild place. Graduated from VGIK. In 1970’s he began a long career as a film director and a director of photography with more than 30 documentary films, awarded at many Russian and international film festivals.
