The film is dedicated to the world famous film maker Andrey Tarkovsky. In 1965 he visited Armenia. A few scenes of his visit to Geghard Monastery were incidentally filmed. Arsen Azatyan (born 1959, Yerevan)
They both graduated from the Film Directing Department of Armenian Yerevan Pedagogical Institute. In 1981–1986 worked at Hayfilm State Studio as director assistants, since 1987 – as film-directors and scriptwriters. In 1990 they established AYSOR after AYSOR-PLUS FILM PRODUCTIONS, where made two feature and four short fiction films. The films have been shown and awarded in several international film festivals, including those in Berlin (Special mention), Moscow, Ekaterinbourgh (Special prize), Montreal, Rotterdam (Special prize), Neon (Special mention), Edinburgh, Taormina, Odense, Barselona, and etc.
