The world of silence coexists with the world of sounds. The film is about deaf people. They have everything for full happiness: jobs, love and family. They live in their own world, where lack of hearing is not considered a defect. The world of silence is as interesting and significant for them as the world of sounds for those with hearing.

Medvedev, Pavel

Pavel Medvedev (born 1963, Orenburg)
In 1990, he graduated from the Directing and Cinema Department of Leningrad State Institute of Culture, and in 1992 from High Courses of TV Directing. From 1992-2000 he was a director for different TV companies of Petersburg and Moscow. At present he is a director at the Petersburg Documental Film Studio. Medvedev is a laureat of several local and international film festivals.
